I think this is a white balance problem

Hey,

I just purchased a DVX100 and was shooting some stuff in 30p around my neighbourhood. The street I live on looks really, really white like glowing and it is really hard on the eyes. Is this a white balance problem?

What would I do to correct it hypothetically? The sun was really bright that day.

Sounds more like an exposure problem to me. Try using the built in ND filters and then use the auto iris to set the first f/stop and then from there you can go into manual iris and adjust to your liking.
