Hi you guys,
I need your help, but unfortunately, like Donny who loves bowling, I am out of my element when it comes to editing stuff.
I had a colour correction spotting session last night for a short I shot a while ago. There is some weird motion ghosting/strobing going on that doesn't seem right. When I asked him if he had to render everything that went on the timeline, he said yes. I said that I don't think you have to do that with the version of FCP that he's using (the last one before FCS I think), and that I was concerned about the motion strobing.
Could he be cutting the movie on a timeline that is the wrong format? He says he picked 1080 60i/24p. I shot 1080/24p, does the pulldown get down manually or automatically? What could be causing that weird ghosting I'm seeing?
I have no screen grabs or anything, so I hope you guys know what I'm talking about based on that description!
Thanks for your help!
