Just thought I would share this.
I work at Whole Foods Market on Las Vegas Blvd in the heart of Las Vegas. I was standing on the front line (deli case area). There was a woman being helped, and I swear she looked so familiar, and I keep STARING at her. Litterally staring her down, because I could not figure out why she looked so familiar. She saw me staring at her, and kept giving me a glance. I said, " MY GOD! Where do I know you from!"
She says, "Have you seen The Departed?"
My god, it was Vera Farmiga! I don't see to many people who are "famous" in las vegas so it's quite interesting for me. She probably doesn't get noticed much. Probably a lot after the departed, but I've seen a lot of her films. She was really classy.
Another time, I was making a sandwich for a woman. We somehow got onto the conversation of film-making. She didn't seem to interested. I explained I wanted to be a film-maker. She said she wanted to see my work and gave me her card. A quick google search pulls up a TV show pilot looking to get picked up. She also seems to have her own production company.
I know a lot of you guys do this stuff on a daily basis. So no surprise to you. Just so interesting. The things you do not expect from people.
Besides that, Brendan Fraiser has come in multiple times. However I have not talked to him yet. I probably shouldn't! and I run into some local celeb's so often.
Just interesting stuff, just goes to show what talking to much leads to.
Not a bad thing I guess?
