I screwed up!

I created a long sequence / about 30 edits / and changed each clip to black and white, instead of just simply rendering the entire nested sequence.

I know, I'm an idiot. Now, I'd like to change it back to color.

BUT, my past auto saves have "moved on" and they all show the clips in black and white.

QUESTION: Is there any way to change the black and white clips back to color...? OR must I pull the originals and re edit them back in.
note: I did not edit w/time codes.

I think I am screwed.

the clips in the timeline are ony references to the source - therefore the source is still in colour.

Just remove the effect from each clip.

Select each clip with the ECW open and delete the applied effect or turn it off with the toggle. Unfortunately you have to do it to each one. ( 3 minutes work)

If there was no way to remove the effect from each clip another option would be to revert back to an archived project file. If you have autosave on then every time prmeier saves your project it gets archived so you dont loose a lot of work if u want to undo more than you can go back.

You can always remove the effects from each clip. The quickest way to change ever clip, IF they all have the same effects and effects setting (big if there, by the way) is to change one clip, copy it to the clipboard, and paste its attributes to the other clips. I do it all the time.

sorry i wasn't being specific enough i meant if there is no way of removing the effect from the clip because you had exported it while the effect had been applied and saved over the original project file

thats what i do. ..just copy one.. then select all the rest.. and paste. life is good. but it is too bad you cant select them all and delete the commonly applied effect like that though, it is certainly a pain to go back and delete or change them all later.
