I, Robot

Re: I, Robot

i just saw it recently. it wasnt as bad as the trailer made it out to be. will smith was cheesy. some of the vfx were cheesy. but i was entertained by the movie in general. the preformance by the robot was pretty good! some good expressions and reactions from him. oh and some of the production design was wierd/cheesy. its funny when i look back on it, there are a bunch of things i didnt like. but i still liked the movie.

Re: I, Robot

Well, I tend to dislike movies which are set in the not-too-distant future, but way too many changes have been made (like the fundamental infrastructure of Chicago). This was one. But despite that, I liked it.

ha ha ha. everyone i know that has seen this movie, including me, said the EXACT same thing.

Re: I, Robot

I too, went into it not expecting much. But it was a nice surprise. Entertaining. But some of those "futuristic" outfits made me laugh.

Re: I, Robot

I, too, enjoyed the film, much to my surprise. But it still bothers me when a film is made from a book and then there is nothing in the film besides the title that even remotely resembles the book. >:( Oh, well, I guess I shouldn't bit*h since it happens all the time. :(

Re: I, Robot

went in with low expectations, and thoroughly loved the hell out of it.

Re: I, Robot

It wasn't to bad. My major gripe would be that Smiths' name was Spooner. I don't know if that was in the book or not but it sounded stupid as hell. Agreed though, the robot was the best actor in the film, but he's no Gollum 8)

Re: I, Robot

Too funny

My wife and I said the same thing "That was better than I thought..."

Still, not great. But a watchable DVD rentable for sure. I'm getting kind of tired of Will's "Oh no you didn't..." routine though.

Re: I, Robot

maybe the key is....

lower everyones expectations with the trailer..show them shite on a stick...and deliver lemon popsicles...still kinda sweet..but makes you cringe a bit.
