I own a AT 897..should i get a OCTAVA..what are the main differences in those mics???

I own a AT 897..should i get a OCTAVA MK012 (hyper)??
is there something else that i need more..i dont have a wireless set up..should i save up for that before getting another shotgun type mic???

The MK012 would be a nice mic to compliment what you have already. You would use the 897 for exteriors and the MK for interiors. It is a very nice hyper cardiod mic and very reasonably priced.

Regarding the wireless, the general feeling is that whenever you can use a wire, use a wire. When you cannot use a wire, go wireless...
