Okay I just got my dvx100a and I love it to death. Okay I still have a little bit of my income tax money left. I've been debating on what software should I buy. On one hand I first was looking at adobe premiere pro cs3 I seen a couple of videos done with that and I love adobe encore the things you can do with it seems amazing. Then one day just browsing the internet I seen Sony vegas Pro 8 and the couple of videos I seen where also amazing i was scared of it because I didn't know how the dvd arcitect what make dvds. Here is what I'm trying to do I'm tying to get started in making music videos for artist in my area, I love music and I feel like it'll give me expierence in music videos so when I start on mine for my album. It seems like Sony Vegas Is easier to opperate than Adobe Premiere Pro, but it seems like the effects on Premiere Pro are more professional looking, Also it seems like Premiere Pro is more better when your trying to shoot a movie and sony vegas fits more better when you trying to do music videos, just my guess though. I need help badly. and soon becasue I'm ready to buy the software and get started a.s.a.p.

P.s. I'm getting after effects for color correction.

right now I have windows movie maker and It can't seem to locate my camera.

one more thing which software is better fitting for my camera premiere pro or Vegas Pro let me know. I'm ready to get started on a new career.

Vegas is better with 24p. Which is not to say that PP is bad.

Vegas's chroma keyer is outstanding. Premiere's blows chunks. (But you'll have After Effects.)

But overall, you can accomplish exactly the same things with both.
