I need to choose between these 2 mics. HELP!!

I need to choose between the Sennheiser MKH-60 and the Shure VP88, tomorrow!!

I gonna rent it for 2 days for making all the voices for a shortfilm, I mean re-record the actors voices.

I know very little about audio, so please any suggestion will be very appreciate.

The recording will take place at an aislated room, and I'll use my DVX100B as a sound recorder.

The MKH60 likely is the mic you want. The VP88 is a fine mic, but its big selling-point is that its a stereo mic. Dialogue is almost always recorded in mono, and the same goes for ADR (the proccess of re-recording the dialogue to picture in a studio).
 
Mkh60, better all around microphone and it's going to last forever. It holds it's value very well too, so if you need to re sell it again two days after tomorrow, you will get your cash back
