If you're thinking you want this film to go anywhere, get someone who knows how to light, organize your shoot, and rent equipment.

Where are you working out of?

home depot and lowes have high power work lamps that are cheap and work good for a lot of light.

Some have tripods and can change from 1000W to 500W
pretty good for the price ... aprox $35

here is another site about cheap lighting http://www.jorenclark.com/whitepapers/lighting.html

good luck

To build on that I recommend you do a very simple but very helpful task. First off there is a lighting manufacture that the Home Depot or Lowes ( I can't remember which because I shop at both so often) carries call UltraTech. I recommend them for the even flow of brilliant light. Once you take the small cage attachment off of the face of the fixtures you will see no obstruction in your light path, just an even flood of light. Get 2 sets of the 1000w tripode light setups (thats 500w on each lamp) and that will give you 2000w to play with. Next pick up 2 of the single 500w stand alone lights lamps for high lighting the back areas of the set, or what ever. Next and final go to
http://stores.ebay.com/Fotodiox-Direct and buy 2 light shade (flags) adapters for positioning your key light. You will then take the flags off of the shade adapters and afix them to your light stand lights by use of a drill, & some metal tapping screws. Next is the simplest part of all. Get yourself some fine grain sand paper, open up the front glass panel of the light fixture, and sand the inside glass of light fixture until it looks just like smoked glass. This softens the harsh brilliants of the work lights. Close it and you got yourself a hella set of lights man.

Do it. You won't be sorry. Now you have an 3000w light set up for under $275.00.

You can't beat it.

Thanks! It's not necessary to cross post something twice. We got it. Worklights are well-known around here.

Lets get real. When I was a new dvxuser I had 1,000,000 questions about lighting. Wasn't familiar with this type of site. Thank god for those taking the time to help. Sarcasm is so tired. This respond fits just fine.

Your intentions are really obviuos dude.

lol
