I need some ideas

Well for my high school video production class, we have a new project in which we are supposed to recreate a music video called "Bitter sweet symphony", How ever this will be shot in our school environment. With 4 characters, with the same concept of the trucking camera following the actor bumping and knocking over people while lip syncing. I'd like to make this video into like a parody, how ever I am lacking creativity at the moment :Drogar-KnockedOut(D

I am open to any ideas of what the 4 main actors can do while walking to make it funny, and would be greatly apreciated.
In the end all the characters will end up in 1 place and then walk out together.

The tools I have is a canon hv30, dolly, some basic lighting, access to a big school. 4 Main characters and about 20 extra's.

VIDEO IS HERE:

I'm seeing everyone starting in different places in the cafeteria. Then ending up at the same table. If you have access to food you could do some really fun stuff. just an idea. Love that song by the way.

Because of the length of the song, we're going to be starting off each character in different sides of the school. Utilizing the long hallways, for on shot when the guy steps on the girls hood, we're subsituting it for when one of the characters walks on the cafeteria table like a cat walk, and then our lunch lady will persue him/her LOL

still in need of more ideas :D expected to shoot this friday.
We've built a dolly type thingy for it, I'm excited :)

this is what i have to work with, had to take some photos for our story board, there is much more to the school than that but gives you a general idea of what im dealing with.

The point of the video is that the singer never turns, never moves out of the straight vector he is walking to accommodate anyone else ("I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down").

To do it justice don't worry about being funny, be clever. Try to figure out a way to make it look as if he is walking in one end of the campus, straight through the building, and out the other. Shoot all over the school building, but be clever in figuring out how to preserve the continuity. You'll have to use various hallways that don't match up, so you will need some funky camera angles, super tight shots, and other methods to 'hide' it. For example, be tight behind the actor in a dark-ish hallway as he slams into a door opening it allowing light to flood in, blinding the camera to whats in the next room. You can then flip the camera to the front and use any room in the school that has a similar door.

At one point the singer climbs over a car. Climbing over a table in the cafeteria is a must have. Having girls dropping books is a must have. Shoving between 2 football players is a must have. Breezing by the principal is a must have. Having a soccer ball bounce off his head without him showing any reaction would be good. Shoving into a janitor who spills a bucket of mop water would be good.

Don't make it for the kids at the school, they will know it's not a straight path, make it for everyone else whose never been to your school.

Good Luck...
