I need some help... I recorded multicam with different frame rates

Hello all,

I'm a little new to multicam editing and just realized a made a mistake when filming yesterday. My setup is two cameras (Canon t2i), and a zoom H1 with a lav for audio. I was dropping all my files into Premiere today, and matching up everything to run into pluraleyes. However, I noticed that I accidentally had one camera set at 30 fps (29.97), and another at 24 fps. The sequences I'm placing each section in are 30fps (29.97).

Am I hosed when trying to match everything up with pluraleyes? What is the best way to be able to use all this footage together, and be able to synch it up to the audio?

Thanks for any direction you can give!

Import all of your footage into the media viewer on your software, there is a way to collectively modify the frame rates of all of your footage at the same time. If you are using Premiere you select all of your footage in your media viewer at the same time, the right click. Modify > Interpret Footage, and then your will see a box where you can enter a new frame rate of 29.97. When you click OK, it will conform all of your footage that frame rate.

You may want to consider rendering one of them out at a new frame rate so that Pluraleyes can use the same frame rates to sync. You can always drop your original footage on top later on since Premiere Pro can edit mixed frame rates if you don't like the newly rendered version.

OTOH, if it's continuos footage, it really shouldn't be hard to hand sync them. Just look for a significant move or a camera flash that appears on both cameras and you're good to go.
