Hello everybody! I have a few questions and i need some clarification! I have an upcoming film festival and i am planning to enter some of my work but i really need help with the credits.

Some inside information:
My crew is a group of 3 + me

1st Question Regarding Music Videos
So first off i am storyboarding the whole video as well as all the cinematography and will be the lead actor of this video. I will also be directing all the shots and instructing my crew what to do. Basically the crew is just going to be working with lighting, slate/spotter for the cameraman that i will choose some time in the next few weeks.

All the audio was mixed/mastered by me.

Now the question is.. and it may seem dumb but.. who should be credited for what? My crew can be kinda stubborn and usually want credit that doesn't really apply to them so i just need to get some clarification on who to credit.

2nd Question
Is it really necessary for me to have all those jobs???

Sorry if this is in the wrong category :s

Early on in your career when the lines are blurred of who does what I find it's best for you to just take the one or two credits that you want to do careerwise, ie if you directed and want to be a director take that credit, and maybe a producer or writer credit as well. Editor, sure. But then all the rest of the stuff that you did or helped with, just let the people take whatever credit they are due. Take credit for the one or two, maybe three, things that you did that you deserve the credit for and want to make a career of, and leave the rest to them.

I've given a cinematography credit and gaffer and things like that to other people even if the work was done equally or more by myself, just because I don't want to be a DOP so what do I want the credit for? You know? Now though on my prodcutions roles are more clearly defined so people now and have expectations of the credits they will receive.
