I am using Compressor 2 and would like to know what you all are using in terms of settings for uploading to the web. and perhaps mobile devices using 3gp.
I have used compressor several times to put video on the web so I do know how to do it. I guess I am just not satisfied with the quality after its compressed. I am not sure if there is something I am doing that I shouldn't or vice versa. Today I compressed the same project about 8 different times with 8 different settings or configurations. I am not 100% sold on the quality.
My video has a LOT of motion (quick fast paced edits, transitions, etc.) when I watch the preview window B4 I compress I can see Interlaced lines in shots where there is a lot of motion.
I went into my Filters tab and selected De-interlace (Sharp) then I selected Noise Removal (average)
I often hear people on here say to compress your footage with the highest settings you can if you plan to upload to sites like YouTube that recompress the footage. Even a site like DVXuser I want it to look good on here too.
I have the Compressor DVD Tutorial, maybe I need to watch it again.
