I Need Help!

I am a film student and I just bought a AG-DVX100B and don't know where to place the settings. For the most part I will just be filming action sports in natural light (wakeboarding, moto-x, etc.) I just need some help getting the settings approximately where they need to be. Any help would be appreciated.

Get a POLA - Great for water stuff, and also great for the sky anywhere...

Try different shutter speeds for different things.. its all about light, etc..

As far as specific settings, you need to be specific on how you want it to look.. Dude, the best way to learn, is to go out an play with it.. Do a few of the same shots with some differnt settings.. Buy a set of index cards, and write each setting down, and shoot the index card with the setting you are going to use so you remember.. Then just PLAY.. People on here will tell you what worked for them, which might not work for you..

GO PLAY!
