God, can I just say, what a damn good girlfriend you must be! :)

Has he got Barry Green's book and DVD?

Maybe the film November when it comes out on DVD - that was shot on a DVX.

he uses it for anything. weddings, movies..it's his life. could you give me some ideas of accessories that any of you have.

You *are* a nice girlfriend. Ok, here's my holiday gift list for your DVX guy.

DVRig Pro -- $580 -- This is one of the best handheld camera supports you can buy for the DVX. You can hold the camera steady for hours with this rig.

Sennheiser wireless mic kit - $600 -- I don't care what kind of mics he already has, he'll flip over this wicked small wireless lavalier. And you can always use another wireless mic.

Kino-Flo Diva 200 Light --$530 + $60 for bulbs -- Nothing says you care like a cool running Kino Flo light.

Get him the anamorphic adapter, a Pelican 1550 case, and tell him about DVXuser.com!

That DvRig Pro camera stabilizer sounds nice too.

Yeah, tell him that you've bought him a lifetime subscription to DVXuser.com, and set up an account for free!

I'd buy him a Formatt Mattebox And some filters, 350 for the mattebox, approx. 150 per filter that would mean 3 filters. A schneider truepol, a ND Grad 0.9 soft edge and a plain ND .06 would be a good start...

dang, what a lucky guy to have a girlfriend that wants to buy him camera gear for christmas! Here's some of the things I would be stoked to recieve for christmas....

Century fisheye, or red eye wide angle adapter (www.vfgadgets.com for the red eye, $440)
A jog/shuttle controller, or an x-keys edit controller (I think sirius doggy has one of these)
A color production monitor (jvc makes one that is under 600 bucks)
A sennheiser ME66/k6
maybe some various smaller goodies like nice headphones, a slate, a bunch of tape stock, etc etc....
A cinebags production bag
a gift certificate to EVS? (do you have such a thing Rush?)
A set of Rowe cine dolly wheels (support your local film maker)

Not knowing exactly what he has, it is hard to make the right suggestions.

But mine are: Glidecam 4000 (fun), monopod (Bogen 842B), 5-in-1 popup reflectors (cheap on ebay), chromakey screen (this will be FUN!!), Kata Raincoat,
