Hey, I'm new here, so I hope this is in the right spot.
We're (me and a few others) going to an event this weekend, and we want to stream the footage live onto our website. We have a webcam, but we obviously want to use a camera instead for slightly better quality. We have a DVDCam, but every time we plug the camera into the computer, the camera shuts off.
I've streamed stuff before, but it wasn't live. So I'm not sure what needs to happen - if there's a software I need or if there's a problem with the camera. We do stream live footage via webcams onto our website, but I'm not sure how to make the camera work. If anyone has any idea how to make this work or can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
