I need assistance: IPod Touch, ITunes, and displaced App.

Two weeks ago I wiped my computer and installed Leopard.
Five weeks ago I downloaded an app to my Ipod touch while waiting to get on a train. I never synced it with my "old" computer.

I moved my library over to a different computer that will be used for my music and other stuff. And yesterday I tried to sync my Ipod with the new computer and library. ITunes wants to reformat my Ipod and reinstall everything.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to save the app I downloaded and never saved to the computer. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get my app off the Ipod? Or otherwise save it from being deleted in the sync with the new library?

The old library is long dead. So that isn't an option.

Thanks in advance!

When you download a paid app for the second time, you will get a message saying something along the lines of "you have already downloaded it, do you wish to download again". Say yes and there is no charge for downloading it again. Unlike songs which is lame.

Point being, you can just download it again for free.

Really?

That's pretty awesome. I almost wish the answer was more convoluted and difficult. Now I just feel dumb for wasting a day trying to figure out how to pull the app off the Ipod.

Thanks though, you saved me 5 dollars and a whole lot of stress. I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I get a chance to get my Ipod up to date. (Since I need to rename half of the songs and organize everything again)
