I need an AppleScript, anyone able to help?

Hi, i cant figure the apple script thing out and need someone to make a simple one for me.

I just need one that will take this 1 file that i have, a simple text file, and i need to copy it into hundreds and hundreds of folders. But instead of clicking a couple thousand clicks and drag and drops, id like to just be able to copy it in all the folders in one shot.

all of the folders this file needs to go into are named the same "custom" and are on the same HDD. Anyone got any help for this one?
 
thanks, but all that goes straight over my head.

guess ill be dragging and dropping for the next 3 hours.
 
Man...If you asked me how to split an atom I could probably help, but Apple script?
 
LOL, thats how i feel.

I just dragged and dropped the file into all the folders one at a time while listening to Faith No More at work today. But im sure ill need to do it again at some point when theres a change to the file, so if someone ever figures it out id appreciate it.
