Hello all, I'm shooting a scene this weekend and the thought is that we should shoot the subject with a hard edged light, and take it to black and white in the editor and later use that footage to luma key in a background, our thought being that the "lit" areas of the original footage would be filled with the key image. Any tips on making this work dramatically. What we are going for is a bizarre surreal effect where the background image takes on the shape of the lit portions of the actor. Maybe I'm repeating myself, but I'm trying to convey the idea. Any reccomendations?
