I need a good way for a lot of people to share footage

I'm working on a video project involving a lot of footage filmed by soldiers in Iraq but I need a good (read: simple) way for them to be able to either upload the footage somewhere or for them to be able to send it to me, does anyone have any suggestions?

There are a growing number of file uploading/sharing websites out there. The most obvious question would be whether you had researched/considered/tried any of these?

Dropbox is pretty good. It can be used. Your upload might be slow though.

You might want to look at Filephile if you're in a situation where your computer will be on and online pretty much at all time - it would save you a bit of time as it sets up pier to pier connection instead of having to upload & download. That way they could sent the footage directly to your system.

Of course you lose the potential benefit of having an automatic online backup (which you get from using an FTP) if something goes wrong.
