I need to create a creepy ghostly light effect with no budget. What I really need is flicker and power, any tips on how to get a white light to flicker in an eerie sort of way? Thanks very much!

If I were doing a ghostly image, I WOULDN'T do it with light!
That best calls for a greenscreen of the actual ghost figure dressed in white with a leaf blower blowing the dress. Then in post the a semi transparent image of it can be put into your scene. It will work a thousand times better than using light to try and make a ghost image. Of course this is just my opinion, and when I hear the word Ghost I think a certain way which may not be what you actually want.
