i am filming a client on nov 7th and they want to use a white backdrop that will fit around five girls. that seems to big to use a sheet idk what to do.

You can use a blank wall and make a Mosaic design on it with different color gels and by putting a fake (or real) plant in front of the light to project on the blank wall. I have done it a few times and it isnt the best but it does work.

Yea I think 10x6 is a little small but ur right there not that much but then again u get wha u pay for. I'll probably buy one and ghetto hang it or somethin. Why are the ones on BH so pricey? I guess I don't know my backdrops

No idea, but all 5 of the ones I've bought off eBay are great. Cloth and not plastic, high quality. I did buy a 9x6 plastic green screen for $10 and it was total crap.

Dye Job

Go to your favorite home improvement store and buy a cotton drop cloth in the painting department. Next get a couple boxes of colored dye. Follow the instructions on the dye and you'll have a backdrop/ muslin that will last forever.

They also sell this masonite at homedepot and lowes that's all white and I'm sure you can figure out how to seamlessly piece them together.

Or find one on ebay or a fabrics store.

The cheapest, easiest thing to do is always just to find a massive white wall that already exists and use that. That's what the pros do: paint, not fabric.

The drop cloth advice is good, that's defintiely a solid chocie. I use a massive white pull-down blind that I got at a liquidation place, but even the biggest of those wouldn't be big enough for what you're talking about.

Remember though that if you want a grey background in your video any of these options will be fine on their own, but if you're looking for a mac-commercial quality "isolated on white" look it's the lighting that does all the work for you, not the cloth. Awesome video on this complete with DIY setup here.
