I need a 35 mm tip, can YOU help me?

Hey,

I have a HVX, and found that I had a bunch of old Olympus lenses around the house. Here they are:

I really want to buy a 35 mm kit. I'm on a student budget, all the DYI kits I've found, use parts only avalible in the US. (I'm in Norway). I still want to buy a kit. What do I do? I've only found one manufacturer who supports Olympus lenses (RedRock M2). But they cost 1300 US dollars, + 25% taxes when it ships to Norway. What do I do? any suggestion will do :)

THe redrock is an awesome project my research has shown for the most part sub-par results on DIY adapters if you want the best then M2 would be hard to beat.
 
I agree. Much of the quality of a 35mm adapter comes from two main parts; the acromat and the ground glass. In the case of HD, the acromat is even more important. Then its down to how well the adapter combines these high quality products.

The M2 has a fairly proven track record now, although there a few others worth looking at. The Brevis might be worth a look and is slightly cheaper; ask them if they are able to add a an Olympus mount. The G35 is still a way of in quantity and will be a bit more than the M2.

If you really want one, I would start saving!

Another option is Wayne Kinney's SGpro which supports Olympus mount for your lenses. Wayne kinney is a great guy and his support is great too. Additionally, he is located to UK.
