So, the highlight of my day was making Willem Dafoe chuckle. I don't remember the details, but it was regarding falling weak to the power of iced cream.
A friend of mine was working as a location scout for Werner Herzog for his latest project, "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done", produced by David Lynch. He called me up this morning and asked if I wanted to be an extra, so I figured heck, why not, don't have anything else to do, never done extra work before. I get to the set and there's only like 6 extras including myself. I get suited up as a cop and stuck somewhere behind Willem Dafoe and Michael Peña. Lunch comes and I get the chance to talk with Werner, Willem, and Michael Shannon. Then I ended up sitting next to Michael Peña in the van back to the hotel where everyone was staying and the costume dept was stationed.
