Are you looking for theatrical release, broadcast, pay TV, DVD rental, DVD sales or ?
Was this shot union or non-union?
Do you have a chain of title to all aspects of the film (screenplay, performances, score)?
Are there any encumbrances or liens?
There are many different avenues to accomplishing a "release" of a film. If this is to be a serious commercial endeavor, you should probably start discussions with potential distributors before attempting to market a DVD yourself. If done incorrectly, you will seriously impact the value of the product to a potential distributor.
A two hour film could represent a serious investment so you would be well advised to treat it as such and get some good advice before proceeding.
