Prepping for a project this upcoming weekend....

Sound and weapons......... Gotta love it! Working with some decent names too.
 
On a side note.....apparently I have a fan. There is a Stuntperson/armorer in Spain that uses me as their "muse".

It appears you love shooting...wether its with a gun or a camera...and preferably both at the same time.
 
So do you own or rent?

...and how does somebody get into the arms wrangling gig (other than by knowing the right people and having a lot of firearms)?
 
Doc how much would you charge for ah....."film shoot" in a small African nation? Once we're in power, I mean wrapped we can double your pay.
 
I own Indie-Arms, so those are all mine.......plus about another 175 weapons, and assorted kit. Mcbob, that is what it takes. Know a lot of people, have a lot of weapons, and have the knowledge to train people on how to realistically "use" the weapons on film. I am former military, have SWAT experience, and various other training aspects that involve weapons, have contacts in just about every law enforcement department in So Cal. When I am hired, it is not just to rent guns. It is because I bring my knowledge on how to make it look real yet safe to the table as well.

Rob, that is really funny you say that. I have been playing with the idea of a script, based on a country's refusal to let a production film in the "perfect location". To fix that, the movie production invades the country, topples the government, all so they can shoot there. But everything they use and do is VFX/Hollywood. It's a comedy.
