I lost my color-correction while compressing!

My 34-min. sequence was color-corrected when I exported it to compressor late last night. I woke up, the export was still in process (4 hours to go--obviously a mistake)---so I cancelled it. WORSE--all the color correction from one clip was GONE. Any ideas what happened?
thanks

Not sure, but I always use Quicktime Conversion (simply because I have no idea what Compressor does) and don't have any issues (knocking on wood). Maybe try that?

Try exporting a reference file from final cut.
File->export->quicktime movie-> when the window comes up uncheck the "make movie self contained" box. then save it somewhere (i usually save to the desktop for this)

after it finishes exporting watch the reference video that you just exported and check for your corrections.

if they are still there, open compressor and drag the reference video file you just made into it. now apply your settings and click submit.

this way of using compressor can also be useful if you would like to still use final cut while something is compressing.

Hope this helps
