I Just Ordered my M2!

Well, after much research, pulling of hair and reviewing sample footage I finally made a decision. I ordered the M2 from RedRock Micro.

Now what am I supposed to do with myself for the next 4-6 weeks?

I would start setting things up in the foreground and the background. So as soon as you get it you can pull focus all day long.

Seriously, all day long.

Congrats, look forward to seeing some footage. Now what am I going to do for the next 4-6 weeks?

I guess I now need to start buying some lenses. I hear there are some good deals on eBay but this is new territory for me.

Lucky... I need to get one of those.

Looking foward to seeing your future work!

Getting Mine in less than 4 weeks.

Getting Mine in less than 4 weeks.

I ordered mine on February 14th. Today I got my HVX from Specialized Communications, checked my e-mail and received a notice that my M2 has been shipped! I mean, when it rains it pours. So by the time I get my M2, it will have only been 21/2 to 3 weeks. That is awesome.
BTW, the first footage I shot with the HVX is incredible. Well worth the wait.

Seamus - that is very encouraging. I hope I can get mine that quickly.

By the way, what kind of lenses do you have and where did you get them?

I have a Nikon 105mm f2.5 shallow DOF portrait lens, a Nikon 50mm f 1.4 , a Nikon 24-85mm f 2.8-4 D, and a Sigma 14mm f 2.8 D with a Nikon Mount.
I got the 105, the 50, and the Sigma on e-bay, and the Nikon 24-85 at B&H Photo. I don't know which of these will work best with adapter, but it will be fun experimenting. My guess is that the Sigma which is very useful for my digital still camera, will not be used much. BTW, I mentioned my HVX because I thought this was the HVX, not the DVX column.
