I just had to post this one...

Considering that he came up in Philly (and provided the cash to finish both Melvin Van Peeble's Sweet Sweetback's Badasss Song and Spike Lee's Malcolm X), you'd have to guess that he can put the boot in when push comes to shove. Bill Cosby Himself and the Cosby Show might have entrenched him as 'America's Dad' but you have to know that he can keep his 'Dad hand' strong.

Uptown Saturday Night, with Sidney Poitier. Awesome classic. But you must, simply must, run to Netflix and watch the sequel, "Let's Do It Again", with Jimmie Walker. It's just amazing.

Hands down, the best thread you've ever made.

Thanks.

LOL. Thanks...I think.

I've never even heard of it. My mom was a big fan of this one and I've enjoyed a bit of it myself (I was too young to really get it). It's pretty funny. Now the question is...who stars in the remake? I vote Steve Harvey as the straight man...but who can do Cos' role...don't say Chris Tucker.

James Harden?...

But is he funny. Cos has some great scenes in this thing.

Not many as funny as Bill Cosby, but Harden is cool. He plays for the OKC Thunder and I work the Fox Sports broadcasts of all their home games. So, I'm a bit biased. :)
