So i deleted a file that, as it may turn out that I will need again. It is a good 30min clip that i deleted. (yes, I'm aware that I am a moron, but the PC came to a crawl towards the end of this project). Now I was propmted that the file was to big for the recylce bin , so Is there a way to recover this? or should I just recapture?

yes do NOTHING you can recover the file, you need undelete or restorer2000 pro you need the program on a different drive and you need to restore to a different drive
 
you you cant recapture there are softwares to recover deleted files, but that 30 min is probly a pretty massive file, thus will like be unable to recover
