I have Covid-19

Thanks everybody for the well wishes!

Luckily our symptoms are not severe and we’re on the tail end of this thing. My wife completely lost her sense of taste and smell for almost an entire month now which has been discouraging and has us a little worried about if/when that is going to come back.

We know everyone’s experience with this thing is going to be different, but we’re hopeful that sharing our journey in an authentic way will be something that people find helpful.

We’ve been jumping at every opportunity to volunteer for studies that will ultimately provide new data and testing. We’ve gotten to see a little bit of what’s going on behind the scenes with new research and the experience has been really enlightening and I’m excited to show it in the documentary I’m making.

Crazy times. Hang tough and thank-you for documenting what you learn/experience during this thing. And thank-you for keeping spirits up
whenever possible. What your both doing is important for several reasons so thank-you again and all of my best wishes for a speedy
recovery.

My 88 yr old mum got better from two heart attacks and kidney failure, went home from hospital with the virus, taken in the next day and passed two Mondays ago. When she arrived home I went and sat with her, did some shopping - and I think got it - luckily my wife and I got it mildly and I'm feeling a lot better, my wife's a few days behind.

Bloody terrible virus - the funeral director here went to collect my mum from hospital today - and told me he was shocked. It's common for two different undertakers to occasionally meet at the hospital doing collections - BUT - and this is what shocked him, he counted 40 coffins coming out of the mortuary, something he says he's never seen in 30 years of doing the job. all these idiots world wide who don't accept it's happening make me pretty angry - luckily in the UK we're pretty compliant with the Government guidelines.

My condolences for your loss Paul. A local funeral home had to rent a refrigeration truck to store bodies because they ran out of space in their facility to process the deceased for burial.

Hey Chris, I'm very sorry you and your wife are going through this but they do keep saying that eventually we're all going to get it so probably good that you are going through this now that the
curve is flattening and it's positive that you sound like you are on the other side of the worst of it.

I'm 90% sure that I presented with full C19 symptoms on my birthday, February 2. Yes, I'm a Groundhog. I was laid up in bed for three weeks, all respiratory symptoms. I was extremely fatigued, food had no taste,
and it was a drag, but I did get better. I know I got it from doing a shoot, being in a car with my co-producer in late January, he was coughing and sneezing. He got it from his wife, a teacher, who "Had this nasty cold that took her
weeks to shake, she went to Urgent Care three times and it still persisted." Same thing, with all three of us, it just took about three weeks to kick it and it was a long, slow fade out, with a cough that persisted. None of us even
thought it could be C19 at the time, we just thought it was a weird, very persistent cold. I plan on getting the antibody test as soon as it's more available. I hope that you and your wife continue to kick it. Luckily, the response is widely varied and it doesn't affect everyone the same way.

Paul, I am so sorry for your loss. Stay healthy!

Sorry for your loss Paul.

Well wishes to everyone affected.

My wife was tested today and they told her it will be 3-7 days for results. Trying to keep distance, but it's nerve racking.
