i have a rough idea for...

if anyone can help with ideas it would be greatly appreciated. or if anyone has other design ideas ur imput will be useful for this is my first build.

That's the basic design behind all shoulder mounts. Most of the materials can be "browsed" for at the hardware store....just wander around looking at stuff and come up with a materials list. Just looking at your basic sketch tells me that it could be built from some sort of tool handle(like is used for more grip on a drill), a little bit of sheet metal, some wood, padding, and various bits of mounting hardware.....remember as well that this design will be VERY front heavy, and as such you may need to counter weight the back end.....another option is adding in an external LCD and moving the shoulder mount to under the camera.
