I got the DVX100a about a week ago, and it works perfectly, but the battery life indicator on the camera only goes down to half, and then it turns off because of low battery. I tested it and the battery lasts what it should (90 minutes) but the indicator on the camera only goes down to Half. Is this a camera problem or a battery problem? because if its only the battery I can live with it (I really dont want to hastle with returns).

i think you will find that virtually nobody on here uses the factory battery. we all bought the batteries you will see listed in the banner ads.
get a whole bunch of them. i recommend getting as many of them as the base postage will include. thats what i did and it worked fine for me.
