I hate you sony Color Gradient!

I have a gradient backgorund with text over it and it then flashes to a image background with the lowerthird being a color gradient with text over. For some reason during the flash transition when rendered out to mp4, it flickers during the flash. Like the text and logo flicker to a different part of the screen for a frame. A very stressful hour. Ive tried using a empty event on top of every track with the flash transition to that, still a problem. I really didnt wanna give up but I might just have to photoshop a gradient.

Anybody else have this issue?
 
Does this occur in the preview (before exporting) ?

Does this occur if you export a different format ? (e.g. try Mainconcept AVC or Sony AVC, or even something completely different like WMV or image sequence)

Did you try disabling GPU acceleration ?

Doesn't seem to want to let me control it; no matter where I click on the timeline, it starts at the beginning.

In any case, try rendering out to an intra-frame codec or uncompressed. Check that the problem doesn't persist, and then render to MP4.
 
Can you post the veg file so that we can try it? Don't worry aobut the media as we can use our own.

I turned GPU acceleration off and the problem is gone. This is a good thing to know for future reference.
