I guess Major isn't enough -- some people want me to run for President

Oh, Terry beat you this quite some time ago.

BTW, was just at the AFM a few weeks ago. Loves me some XB-70.

And now that I think about it, in the modern aricraft hangar, they were setting up for a concert. Was that you?

UGH... darn Terry. Haven't hung in the Cafe for a while.

Yes, that would have been a setup for me!! Well, me and the other 45 people that work with me.

We have an XB-70 there???? Holy cow? Where? That place is huge. I'm always finding stuff I've never seen before. Let me know next time you are up here, I'll get you into the presidential hangar and maybe even the restoration hangar.

We just got back from tour too --

Cool! I saw them setting up. I saw them taking down the next day. Had family matters to attend to that night (the 4th), so I couldn't stick around for the show, but how cool would that have been?

The XB-70 (the ONLY XB-70) is in the Experimental Hangar attached to the Presidential Hanger. Would love to see the restoration hangar, though!

Can't let this thread go without making a comment...I grew up in Dayton/Miamisburg and went up to the AFM very often. That place is amazing!!! It's worth the trip from ANYWHERE!

Had no idea we had an USAF Major on the boards, tho...I'll sit up straighter from now on...
