I-Glasses for Jib Operation

Has anyone ever used any portable i-glass devices to use with their jib-arm instead of a portable TFT/LCD monitor attachments?

I'm thinking about purchasing one but I'm not sure if it's good or not. Any comments? I think they will be good for anti-glare since it's right up to your eyes and you see a 34-76" image (depending on the glasses) right infront of you!

That would be cool with those big swooping crane movements!

a little sweet but pricy for something a portable dvd could do

Norm-

that looks like a very cool kind of toy, but if you are using a jib arm, and I were the director, I'd insist that you have eyes free to see where you are swinging that thing.

Hi Norm,
These look sweet but how do they perform outdoors in bright sunlight.
Also, for this application, a single view(one eye only) unit might be better when you need to see what's going on outside the cams field of view-like what a combat helicopter pilot wears. Any info/links for this would be welcome.
Thanks.

Yeah!

I considered the fact that I might knock out Jennifer Love Hewitt or Tom Cruise if I wore that thing :)

Re: I-Glasses for Jib Operation

how about one of those portable LCD screens
for XBOX, PS2, Gamecube, they're like 7"
for like $150

Re: I-Glasses for Jib Operation

Are they made specifically for those game systems or they are generic LCD portable models? Do you have any links?

I owned one by Innovatek, 7" screen, horrible quality and I couldn't see a thing on the screen, even when I shot on a cloudy day. I guess I could consider Hoodman, but the thing is, it was hard to see the video, even indoors in my apartment while testing it out. Pretty bad quality.

If there are any other cheap solutions that have some quality, that would be great!
