If you bothered to read Luis, you would have seen the ECONOMIC portion of my post. I'm disgusted. Rename this thread the place for sanctioned discussion only. In fact...Have users submit topics for approval. With that I'm done with this place once and for all. I'm going into the kitchen to kick the cat for the bird he's gonna catch next week! It is the place for sanctioned discussion only. It's sanctioned for non technical / and filmmakng posts which would not be appropriate for other portions of the forum. Porn, proselytizing, and politics are not sanctioned anywhere in the forum.

also did you PM Luis? Likely could be a misunderstanding you know. Especially since Luis is one of our most level headed and fair mods.

And one thing I can guarantee you. He's doing the best job he can and only doing what's right in a job that can be tough due to the fact that we're buddy buddy with members one minute and then have to run the site the next minute.

I can guarantee you if it's Luis, it's not personal. Period.

Maybe you should kick a trash can or a pillow instead of the cat or the dog and take a breath since you've been a well liked member here for a long time.

In fact, you'll see that it's been removed.

Remember that there is a body of us trying to make decisions together.

Maybe we didn't use the best judgment trying to have some politics that was good for everyone (i.e., vote). Certainly it didn't work out on any level. And certainly it would be nearly impossible (as it proved) to moderate which posts were political in a bad way and which in a good way.

So you guys are right about mixed messages. We tried it from the best intentions - wanting people to have a voice and be motivated in Novemeber as there's a lot at stake - and it didn't work.

Lesson learned. Sticky removed.

Back to ZERO tolerance politics policy.

It's the fairest and safest way.
