Hey John!! if you love cheese and just pass by Eastern Canada, in the french province of Quebec, you will find some cheeses here without any shame from the one of "la mère patrie", France.
I drink for everyone on this site. My nose is big, red and full of crevasses now.
But of course John, I'll have one for you, a respectful one. Ans if you ever come to Paris, I'll be happy to offer you a french delight, very cheesy, very winey.
What makes french cheeses unique is that most of them are not pasteurized (I think it's illegal in the US...) Full of delicious germs and incredible smells.
Too bad our cinema is not that tasty (poor french cinema, Where Art Thou ? :'()

And I think we are in the same boat, Canadian films hav a repuatation of being pretty weak.. even though Hollywood loves to invade us and make thier movies here.

Hey Jarred,
Here in Quebec, 2003 is the best year ever for local film industry entries. I used to think the same as Anartiste about our films from here, but last year I was quite surprised and I saw some good movies down here. We will see if it's gona last or was just a flash in the pan...The movie "Le Dernier Tunnel" a thriller just coming out, seem very good.
