I did it!

It took a long time but I order a DVX100b from EVS, (thanks Tommy). I stressed over this for sometime , the whole HDV/HD, SD, 16:9 etc, etc. But since my target is the web, DVDs and of course a low budget film the DVX100b just seemed like it would be easier for me. I will have enough problems, I don't need to add the problems of HD/HDV right now. I'll wait a couple of years.

But thanks to many of you for your advice. This DVX community is really great,,,thanks again. (hopefully I will have it in a few days.

Congrats on the purchase. I just recently got mine from Tommy at EVS. I didn't order though I went to the store and purchased.
