I can't get the firestore fs100 to charge its battery

I can't get the firestore fs100 to charge its battery. I plug it in to recharge and immediately the light turns a yellow-green on a battery that when used on its own doesn't even have enough power to start up the firestore. I leave it plugged in for several hours (3) and the battery is still on yellow-green and still doesn't have any charge. I've tried this with two different batteries and they both do the same thing.

If I use the firestore plugged into the wall or with a Tekkeon power supply, it works fine.

Call Focus Enhancements - my guess is this is a mechanical issue which needs some sort of repair/replacement.
