I can't get how to line a script....

I'm going through a rigorous viewing of film videos from Film Riot and I'm on the one about how to line the script and I get how to schedule the film, storyboard the film but I can not get for the WORLD how to "line the script", if I hire a line producer for my project, would he/she be able to help me with how to line the script or would that be something I would absolutely have to know how to do before hiring a line producer?

Lining the script is usually the script supervisor's job. He or she will watch each take and make notes on the script about which take covered which parts of dialogue and action in your script. You can do this beforehand to visualize what shots you will need. Just draw a line down the page from the beginning of the take to the end, skipping over parts of dialogue that won't be captured from that angle. Then notate which scene number that will be (4B, for example.)

Great, ok, now I see thank you. So I could do it or I could have the script supervisor do it, right?
