Just to show my age... I used to do the same thing with my custom written BBS back in 1983-90ish...

Heck, when I first started, I would answer the damn phone and place it on the 300bps modem coupler!!!!

BTW: I am only 35...Not, 37... I am not dead yet!

you know, i used to think that someone in their 30's and 40's was old. being 32, damn, i still feel like i'm in my 20's. my sisters and cousin are in their early 40's and i just don't see them as old as my parents at that age...

My dad's a third grade teacher...:P
I just learned whatever small amount of knowledge I know from stuff like being HERE. In the past I've been on things like cinematography.com and such, but DVXuser is IMO the best resource. Everyone here is so easy going, and it's really a great community.

Actually, I feel old in mind, not body. About 6 months ago, I was at a bar with some musician friends, and I gave a Marilyn Manson DVD to a friend. His girlfriend squeaked, 'Oooh! Manson!' And I said, 'yeah, but he doesn't do anything that Alice Cooper didn't do thirty years ago.'

She made a face and said, 'Eeeewww! Alice Cooper is soooo old. Marilyn Manson is really sexy!'

Ha Ha.. I too had a BBS back in the late 80's.. Man what a pain in the ass it was to trying add some design by using ASCII characters.. then color came out and wow I thought I was in heaven. Too bad my phone bill hit 800 dollars a month and my Parents pulled the plug :(
