Woah I had a dream about this adpater lastnight. I am nurdier than I thought.


It looks ok but made a lot of noise and after about 20mins had turned into a flying pencil sharpener.

Does anyone know of any other adapter options that can mount directly to the body of the HM700? I really don't like the idea of shooting with an HM700 and adapter if I have a right that's 3' long.

The P+S Mini35 will do it, or the Letus Ultimate with their relay lens.

The HM700 is a 1/3'' sensor so with the Letus relay there would be a crop factor. The P+S would probably do it.

Letus has already released their 1/3" Relay Lens for JVC HD Series Camcorders as well for Panasonic HPX300's...

If you wish, you might want to check some videos at Vimeo shot with the HZ-CA13U in between a Zeiss Vario Sonnar 12-120 T2 and an HPX300...

Interesting as it is purely optical- no ground glass, but it only uses 16mm lenses hence 16mm DOF.
Only designed for JVC, but with 16mm DOF seems kind of pointless to me.
