I have bought the Geardear mattebox www.geardear.com , I´m very satisfied, used it on several cameras (DVX100, HVX200, Sony Z1, with P&S Mini35 adapter, even on a Panasonic SDX 900 with P&S 35Pro adapter and Zeiss Prime lenses), because you can adapt it to all cameras. They have clip-on possibilities, rods support for 15mm and at this time launch and produce a new possibility, a rods support for the 19mm rods of the "real" 35mm cameras (and the RED camera, for example). The best thing, you can upgrade all other older versions, you have only to change parts for 30 US$.
And they were put on the Instant Expert list of DVmagazine, http://www.dv.com/dv/magazine/2007/August/ie0807.pdf
I know why...
