I know this method is used extensively in nature photography,
but how many of you really use hyperfocal distance calculators when shooting?
I recently had to use one, when I was shooting a racetrack.
I was positioned at one corner of the race tack, and I wanted the closest cars in focus as well as the cars on the opposite side of the track.
I ended up sliding the depth of field closer to the camera while still maintaining close focus at infinity.
I was really proud of myself lol =]
