HVX200 tape logging seems choppy

Hi there. My Macbook Pro arrived today, so I've installed Final Cut Studio 5.1. This is my first time playing around with logging or capturing footage so go easy :)

Problem is, when I am in logging mode, the footage looks choppy, like it's skipping frames. When I view the footage in cam it looks perfectly smooth.

I filmed it in 25P if that's any help...

I think I have the wrong capture preset maybe? What presets should I be using to import tape footage from an HVX200?
 
In the Log & Capture window, you're seeing a low res version. Don't judge anything by that, it plays like that so the CPU can use more resources to capturing the footage real time, rather than show you a pretty picture. It'll play fine in the Viewer and Canvas.
