A quick review with some questions.
I just got my second HVX and am outfitting it with a M2, and monitor. The M2 is great. Will need some practice and more precise setup, but I am excited. I also took a risk and bought the Varizoom SWIT 1080 with a Panasonic battery mount. Initially the build is good, about half the wieght of the Marshall. It has a flip function and a doubling feature I guess is for focus assist. It does not have mounts on all sides like the Marshall. It is not really easy to focus with which is my concern.
I am in North Mississippi. Would anyone in the few hours around me have a Marshall HD you would like to compare with the Varizoom. I may end up just ordering the Marshall and returning the one the is not the best. Anyway, If anyone is in Memphis Tn, Northern AL, or MS, with a Marshall I would be glad to meet you and compare.
I am afraid it is not going to work for focusing, the main reason I got it. Inside I could get it to work, but outside, it is difficult.
Blessings,
Adam Simpson
