hvx200 dvrack available?

Hey guys,
I have a question in regards to HVX capture options. I currently have a dvx100 and use dvrack for tapeless capture. I 've been putting off buying the hvx200 until there was a reasonably priced capture option and a while back saw that serious magic came out with an HvX200 version of dvrack. It's been a while since I saw that announcement and am finally getting serious about the HVX, but I went to serious magics web site and there's no option to buy the hvx version? It was a serious magic rep over at dvinfo that announced it a couple of months ago. Am I missing something here? i've been way out of the loop. I noticed that no one here is using it??? Which seems odd because it would be such an awesome alternative to the p2 cards. You'd get way more out of dvrack, disk space alone, not to mention monitor/waveform/vetroscope. Anyone know something I don't?

Guess I should have tried harder with ol' search function huh(: Thanks alot for the link that's all the info I'll need

Cheers

Long story short -- it's almost out. Also, I strongly suggest you buy the HDV Powerpak now, that will get you a free upgrade to DV Rack HD, which is the version that will support the HVX200.

Sheesh they must have had some bugs, I thought this would be out by now. Guess I'll wait it out and see.

thanks

No, they simply had other development priorities. They had it in beta for a while, and it worked very well, I encountered only a single problem, and that wasn't a serious one.

According to this page it says it is a $99 upgrade, although I specifically bought it with the HDV pack for the free upgrade to HD as well...which is it?

I saw that, and it contradicts previous statements made on Serious Magic's user forum (and I believe here as well). A clarification has already been requested by a few people, and the lack of a response so far is disturbing.

I saw Karl's response shortly after the post above, and I appreciate SM's willingness to work with those who based their purchase on the original feature set and pricing policy.

I reviewed my options, and bought the $99 upgrade to DV Rack 2.0 HD.
