HVX200 Craze

I know I'm asking for it by posting this, but is anyone else, besides me, sick of this HVX200 craze. I mean, damn, I love the prospects of this camera just like the next guy, but all the endless and pointless post about it, before the camera is out, are just ridiculous to me. If some people worried about making a great movie (with their current camera) as much as they worried about HVX200's X tech vs. JVC's Y tech., they'd have a F-ing DVX100 masterpiece by now.
 
i'm just annoyed at the fact that everybody asks the same questions. they don't bother to look at what other people posted.
 
Yeah. And then they post something someone else already posted. Like what? they don't bother reading what came before? Buncha knuckleheads.

I just bought my DVX a few months ago and I'm happy with it. Its impossible to keep up with technology, I don't even try anymore.

Besides I don't like the P2 cards. (and I don't have $6,000)
 
People spend too much time lusting after gear when they should be shooting with the stuff they already have.

I am hooked on the new HVX. It is like a drug. I can't get enough information. If I ever see an actual screenshot, I will probably pass out. :)

Still, I love shooting with my DVX.

I don't mind the speculation and questions; its just buzz

What bugs me is the stupid ass threads like

'What Tripod should I get for the HVX?'

'Footage' (and then there of course isnt any)

by the way, what color shirt do you think will look best when shooting w/ the hvx?

Ehem....

That's a very good question. Unfortunately since the camera hasn't been released yet it is impossible to make a meaningful judgment in this area. However, if I may speculate, given what we already do know, I would suggest a careful blend of slate blue and charcoal grey. I know that others have suggested a "basic black" and that might work, but given the coloring of the camera I believe this combination would be your best bet, but again, we wont know until we test it.

You can be assured however, that as soon as I get my hot little hands on one, I will certainly put it through the paces regarding shirt color optimization.

It gets a little scary in there. I usually glance in, and then run like a frightened child back to the Cafe where things are sane.:beer:
