So my girlfriend's family has a pretty old HDTV made by Mitsubishi that they bought back in 2000. I can't figure out what the model number is, I just know that the screen is about 70 inches wide by about 40 inches tall, but the whole TV itself is about 5'6" tall and about 2'6" deep. It says "1080 series" on the front, and I can only assume by it's age that it's 1080i not 1080p. We've never had the pleasure of wtching anything in HD on it, and I was excited to view my HVX footage on it. But when I plugged in the component cable from the HVX to the TV, and went to the component input, it wouldn't work. What am I doing wrong?
